It certainly doesn’t look like a competitor to premium SUVs from established automakers, however, since it is not the final product so Pravaig may make some changes before the market launch” /endquote

It has some very Indian contours to it and a little bit of Range Rover (LR is also Indian-owned now). The Tata, Mahindra, Bajaj and other Indian local brands’ vehicle all look not very appealing according to the Pakistani tastes. Pakistanis are mostly visually-oriented people and the Pakistani tastes have been influenced by Japanese and German older designs because that is what the kids get to see on our streets.

But if you choose to see beyond the superficial, despite most of the Indian vehicles looking ugly from the Pakistani eye (again beauty is subjective), they are doing good business, generating profit for the investors, serving their countrymen 100% localized, durable and feature-rich products at low prices opening up income opportunities for their workers and the dream of automobile freedom for literally billion+ customers. Now they are even exporting some of that stuff, again, enabling people in developing countries all over the world. From the shallow sense the vehicles do not look pleasing to the eye but the impact they are having on the world is really, really deep. We must also enable ourselves to realize that every new vehicle going on sale in India has factory-fitted ABS & airbags (safe) and Euro6/BS6 compliant (emissions) using Euro6 fuel which is very good for the global village from the environmental perspective, whereas every new vehicle going on sale in Pakistan is Euro2 and unsafe in other words a burden on earth. Pakistani oil refineries also dragging their feet to introduce ULSD & ULSP Euro5 compatible fuels.
