Indus Motor Company (IMC) the assemblers of Toyota cars in Pakistan has increased the price of the Corolla Altis 1.8L CVT variant. The hike comes hardly two weeks after the prices of Corolla 1.6L and Toyota Hilux Revo were increased by up to Rs. 700,000.
With an increase of Rs 370,000, the Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8L CVT is now available at Rs 5,639,000. According to the company notification:
“The volatile situation of Forex, increase in utilities and overheads have also impacted the cost of manufacturing for IMC. Thus, this situation has made it extremely difficult for IMC to hold the current retail selling prices, and therefore, we are compelled to pass on some impact to the market.”
Earlier in November, the price of Corolla Altis 1.6L CVT was increased by Rs 1.9 lac whereas that of Altis 1.6 CVT U/S was pushed up by Rs 2.0 lac. After which the retail prices of these variants stand at PKR 49.79 lac and PKR 54.79 lac respectively. Furthermore, prices of Toyota Hilux and Revo variants were increased by up to Rs 7.0 lac. The revised price of Revo E is Rs 9,069,000, for Revo G MT its Rs 9,839,000, while that of Revo G AT its Rs 10,309,000.
