The A-series Datsun engines had this specific chukka-chuk sound from the pushrod OHV valve system and the exhaust had a certain kind of sound. In the 90s we thoight it irritating because most black taxis had been altered to LPG and the LPG stench is deeply associated memory with black taxis (regardless whether the taxi was a datsun or any other brand), but now that I think, the sound from the exhaust was a certain note never seen recreated in any other vehicle.

aaaaaand that thing about the typical aroma of a classic Datsun interior! I thought I was the only one who felt that Datsun can be easily identified from the specific smell in its interior! You could blindfold someone and sit them in a Nissan/Datsun vs any other and they would easily identify which one is a Nissan/Datsun! Maybe they used some unique materials or something!
