Khurram, Updating in this case would mean introduction of the new versions of the Bolan and ravi. That means more power from newer engines which would mean more carrying capacity for the users. That means for example any one with a cargo carrying business would be able to get more work out of the newer vehicles and also enjoy better mileage. Also having added safety features such as airbags would mean safer driving conditions for the users.

What you are saying is everything should remain just as it is. that means you don’t want any progress in fuel efficiency or horsepower and no addition of safety for the users? think about that.

If you are talking costs, here is an idea; instead of importing parts from Indonesia, Suzuki Pakistan can get the more up to date versions of these from Suzuki China. They might be cheaper because of the trade agreement between our two countries.

And can you please explain what you meant when you wrote:

“…yelling a criticism at him the old man would do well if he goes into labour and do his part in ending this culture.”

What the heck do you mean by that? What choice of words!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Secondly, their prime concern is to possess a durable, easy to maintain and well-made vehicle..

the new every pickup is more durable, its more fuel efficient. drivers can save lot of fuel per trip. in 1 month they can save almost 5 days worth fuel so why stick to the old just because YOU have a limited & questionable knowledge?

Anyways, the standards are affecting Bolan and Ravi users and these people are not interested in implementation of such standards because firstly, they do not care. Secondly, their prime concern is to possess a durable, easy to maintain and well-made vehicle and since installation of imported technology is going to make the vehicle expensive to buy as well as maintain it. Well, it is not necessary to have the vehicle changed its infrastructure. Besides, why the government should implement WP-29 across the board, when vehicles aimed at loud supporters of such standards are already coming with mentioned items. Furthermore, the government’s intent at the moment is to confine import bill and passing off of such standards is going to incline it further, it therefore, is kind off distracting government off its focus.
As for premium money on cars, well, Premium is being paid by customers, until and unless they stop paying it, no rule or application of authority can rid Pakistani car industry off it. Therefore, people demanding government to take action in this regard are like an old and bald person sitting in a chair all day long and brandishing a stick at every passerby, yelling a criticism at him the old man would do well if he goes into labour and do his part in ending this culture.
