I have already clarified that for me quality means cheaper long-term ownership, I want vehicle I know is not going to cost me high amount before 150,000 kilometers. This point is still missing in KIA, Hyundai, Genesis or other crap brands Koreans have come-up with.
Moreover, I think that you have several contacts who are using Sportage, if it is not too much to ask, could you please ask one of them to share review of a car after they have run it for 50,000 kilometers at-least. Because I doubt that taking a car on one time trip to Naran or Khagan where roads at-least are pothole free is one thing. On the other hand, driving to Quetta or Umerkoat is another experience. Roads are broken or not there at all. Based on the review, we can decide whether KIA’s quality is dependable or not.

I chose not to mention S.U.V. because none of the vehicles offered by KIA are as strong as Toyota Land Cruiser or even Rav4. Sportage or Telluride or other nameless vehicles are for city car users, not for people like us who take their cars in areas where roads are not even known to people as a thing you drive on.

They are, however, has any KIA or Hyundai customer ever actually owned there cars as long as owners keeping their Toyota? As far as I am aware, customer reviews available on JD power belong to those who have either managed to achieve 15,000 miles or one year period and under this timeline a car is supposed to stay in one piece.
Lastly, do you really believe that Toyota is not aware about quality of KIA and Hyundai, would they just let themselves be swept away? Being a professional you know a detailed answer than I do.

back in old days they just had Sportage, today there is a plethora of SUVs plus Koreans are doing exceptionally well in initial quality studies too… Nothing to take away from Toyota but Hyundai & Kia are catching up fast:
