Before arguing with Khurram, I would like you to know that you must think of Khurram as someone who hasn’t seen/experienced a vehicle outside of Pakistan entirely, as he shows this quite evidently and frequently. No sane person would ever think that there is no better alternative than Bolan unless he is a shut in person who has never seen the market outside of Pakistan or has seen how the world works outside of Pakistan. He only believes what he sees, and what he sees is what he’s shown by these companies and associations like PAMA.

Moreover, it is absolutely futile to engage with an argument with him, as he will always throw out your sourced and correct claims out of the window completely, and then slap you with completely baseless claims and arguments, and if that doesn’t work, he will call you mentally retarded, try to teach you as if you’re the lesser being, and then ultimately blame the entire nation of Pakistan for allowing people like you to exist.

So, a vehicle that is used for commercial purpose and a vehicle that is used for a residential purpose can be compared? Don’t your brain tells you that a vehicle that is travelling a larger route then a vehicle that is travelling a smaller route, by the way a residential vehicle driver is the owner and he cares for his vehicle, is causing a different level of depreciation on a vehicle?
Furthermore, check the difference between P.P.I. of Pakistan and the rest of the world? Secondly, look through the quality of fuel, road network, vehicle repair mechanism around the world and Pakistan. Every maybe good but it is not an option for commercial transporter because it cannot load a Waves triplet and take the load of foot deep pothole at the same time without damaging its suspension, nor it can run on a mineral or open oil. Why then should we not choose a Bolan, is it a crime? Now come to your question about why a change cannot satisfy customers of Bolan? Well, firstly, why are you asking for a Bolan to be changed? You are not its user and so you don’t know about its durability. The issue presented below that arose in Mehran has so far not reared its head in a Bolan or Ravi and so comparing it with Mehran is once again out of question.
Moreover, the issue in Mehran came about when P.S. changed the structure of Mehran in 2017 by installing in it an immobilizer, its body became heavier but lighter. Consequently it used to return a good mileage but this saving was netted off from the high repair costs. Due to weaker body it used to shake apart from running on potholes and this resulted in frequent bumper repairs, mirrors repairs and other such repairs. In other words, the Mehran made from Chinese parts lost its only charm low repair cost, so the customer switched to used Baleno or Indus Corolla and P.S. had to discontinue it and bring out Alto that is returning around 25km in a liter on a light foot. In other words, P.S. by changing a model has capitalised on a feature that it already had but needed to upgrade it. I have said this all confidently because I have a 2012 Mehran and a 2017 Mehran, both are way different from each other.

How? Isn’t the new generation of Every viable? If it is viable for so many other countries in the world then why not for Pakistan? Now the running cost of new 8th gen Alto is less than running cost of Mehran which is 2nd gen Alto. Why do you think the same cannot happen in the case of Every?

Why aren’t people in other countries lobbying to get 1979 technology in 2021? If it is best aren’t they suffering some national loss by having some latest technology instead of some oldest technology?

Re-read my suggestion to Ali Khan and get in touch with actual user of vehicles for commercial purposes. Moreover, before posting a question to me, consider this, are Canadians and American J.D.M. involved in overloading of vehicles? Are they troubled with menace of inept car mechanics, are their vehicles harried by low fuel quality and overall under-developed infrastructure?

Can you fathom that used JDM import is not a local phenomenon … in fact some countries do not have any automotive “assembly” or manufacturing and totally rely on used JDM imports. Used JDMs are most preferred in all countries of the world because it is a common impression that JDM vehicles are of very high quality and technology as compared to what the same Japanese manufacturers want to offer in export markets. Used JDM re-export is such a large business and mostly Pakistanis are in this type of business such as SBT Japan ICM Japan etc. Why in some countries where used JDM import, used European import, used Indian import, used North American imports etc. all the variety range and choice is available, customers still prefer JDM? There are entire hobbyist websites where people in America and Canada discuss their love of JDMs and their experiences of importing kei cars and using them!
