Almost every government that has been cursed upon us has only shortsightedly worried about making money for themselves and then leaving. They have not even thought once about allowing actual competition to form in the auto sector, which will ultimately lead to them ironically getting more profit (in the form of taxes and investment) if profit is the only thing they care about in the world, but no. They always did the shortsighted quick and easy “dhanda” to make as much money as possible in their short years of governance and then leave.
