In the end they’re only saying “Hey Guys! We’re doing something new! Don’t forget about us! Please 😅🥴”

Huh? Where’s the lie?? Was Toyota working on alternative fuels before EVs started picking up? Or were they actually sleeping cause there was no threat to them, like I said? 🤣

It can safely be concluded that I.C.E. cars are here to stay for a pretty long time therefore, it is wise to try and make them compatible under contemporary terms. After all, Toyota Land Cruiser J70 EV is about to become reality when the vehicle designed in 70s could be re-created, why not then something out of ordinary could be done? Moreover, Scania is already running a bus on Bio-fuel in U.K. so the phenomenon is not new and this team is going to expand the options. I wish them success.

Exactly!

Back then it did not matter. petrol or diesel were the only way to go. No need for them to emphasize on any research into these alternative fuels. Now the dynamics have changed. they have no choice. I say good luck. If they can find some way to use alternative fuels, good!

But there are other obstacles with that. For example bio fuels have an adverse effect on the food supply. crops are diverted for use in the bio fuels instead of food. A point that has been made about such fuels before.

The only interesting technology to me is the atmospheric carbon capture for conversion to fuel. That is awesome and I hope they really find a way to make it work on a large scale.

When everyone was using and making ICEs they were sleeping. It’s only when electric cars started becoming popular that they realized that we should really work on getting alternative fuels instead of promoting EVs. Thanks, Toyota! 🙄
