This is what we have been discussing in the comments section. With Toyota insistence and stubbornness to stick to ICE cars, only poorer nations will be the last markets for them to sell in.

They will also have to give cheaper models with decent tech if they are to have any hope of surviving. China is also a big player in the hybrid market, with very affordable and quality vehicles with very good tech. If Toyota does not play the pricing right. It can (and will) lose this last market as well.

Toyota has literally backed itself into a corner. Excellent strategic management?… 🤔
