Oil, filter, grease, gasket and fluid change for this vehicle must be so simple and cheap that my local Doodh wala can do it easily for me with his assorted tools inside his Yamaha's tool box
Oil changes should last 500,000kms each for ease of life
Wheels should be bolted on with a single nut and can be easily undone by my 4 year old cousin
Fuel consumption should be not less than 100km/l
Parts should be available at my local Chips wala uncle's stall at all times

When High-on-dye implements these very realistic requirements for their new Parlorslide, then and THEN ONLY will I only consider to replace my Tayota Carolla Chiyaasi with this vehicle.

i will wait for 25 years to see if this Parliside survives on local roads, then i will trust this car. but before that Hyundai should also make sure i can get its oil changed at Nagori Milk Shop

Pakistan government is making a big row about “cracking down on the local mafia”. This is a big part of it. Why are these CBUs so much more expensive then the rest of the CBU importing world?

Tax rate or dollar hike or freight charges alone cannot explain the huge disparity in the prices.

Lastly, going by past examples, Toyota Pakistan never imports the top end models of any of it’s CBU vehicles. The cruiser in the past was the AX model in Japan. One step below the top most ZX. This time it will be the same again I believe. So, the elite in Pakistan will be paying almost 8 caror with registration etc. for less.
Again the best option is to go for JDM imports. The only way to get the ZX.

This must also be seriously investigated. Why are the local desi japani especially desi toyota, taking such advantage of its customers.

this Rs 72 million price is totally insane, God just look at the price in Australia. but there are always some crackpots who will come & justify this only because its a TOYOTA

In reply to Khurram. I don't think they will. Paying a premium and waiting a year or more for a vehicle that is just mid at best? I don't think so. People will definitely consider way better options available in the market. Unless people only want to pay for the brand name and the "Land Cruiser" name, then perhaps they will wait for it.

I think people are going to wait for this sweet looking ride, it is much better in terms of technicality and looks than Pallside.
