To put an end to the discussion following my comment about the LC not being an SUV but a 4×4.
After some search i found something interesting, depending the area you are living you will not have the same difinition for what is an SUV.
Since i’am an European Pakistani, i didn’t have the same definition as the Pakistani in Pakistan.
Now i hope that all the discussion will end.
I just want to point one thing, it amaze me who many peoples try to argue with me and even judge my personality, when no one try to understand the situation.
I don’t know if mister Usman read the comments or if they are some moderators, but even them didn’t reat about our differents point of view, why ?

Ahh! you are talking about colloquialisms. i.e., terms made up by people for things in any local language.
For example the Honda Civic. Here in Pakistan, to differentiate and quickly know what a person is talking about, the different generations have been given different names locally. Eagle eyes, reborn, rebirth or X. These are not official terms.
Similarly, there is something like that here as well for the 4x4s. The all time 4x4s are called Jeeps. That is also wrong. Jeep is a company and Jeeps refer to their products. Say this in the US or Canada or Europe etc. about any 4×4 and you will get a very confused look.
The reason for this quirky local colloquialism is simple. The first 4x4s here were Jeeps. That stuck. That makes any 4×4 a jeep.
It is simply an SUV. Or if you prefer, it is a full time 4×4 SUV. It is that simple.👍

It is confusing if you are saying SUV is about body type, because here in Europe as well in North America we make a difference between both SUV and 4×4 not only technicaly but also with the body frame.

Exactly! Here, the bigger and flashier the car, the better it is. Palisade can win in this regard seeing it’s actually longer and bigger in size (7 seater) and has a more flashier design.

Toyota land Cruiser is just built on a Ladder frame type chassis with 4×4 capabilities. Palisade is not; and it only comes with AWD.

But if you look at the use cases, most cruisers are bought here NOT for their off-road capabilities, but as a status thing.

Palisade is an SUV where Land cruiser is a 4×4, the need of both of them isn’t the same, but Palisade would get the advantage to come with a cheaper price.

Exactly! The LFA Back when it started going towards it’s development stages had technologies and features that were cutting edge for its time! But it took so long to make, the time they were finished with it, those back then cutting edge technologies were common and already phasing out for something newer and better.

The same will surely happen with the Land Cruiser. Technology and trends are moving so fast nowadays, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that by the time these “innovative” and “Good OLD” Cruisers get delivered, the market would probably even have SUVs that will offer twice the comfort/luxury/tech for the same price. Who knows, when the Cruiser finally gets delivered we would have SUVs that have 24inch infotainment systems and AI technology that will let you speak with the car like KITT 😆
