Excellent self description and assessment. Despite being corrected again and again on any issue, you still repeat it. Despite being shown evidence again and again of their wrong doings, you still parse the same people and companies who are actively involved in bringing about the worsening of Pakistan’s economy.

Makes sense! They could be deliberately trying to hurt the reputation of EVs. I mean, they designed the thing to look as depressing as possible. Just the looks of the interior and the front fascia makes me feel like we live in a nightmarish capitalist corporate controlled society where cars have no other purpose but to bring you to your job without any aid from you.

But then, they are very well only hurting their own reputation, since wheels falling off a vehicle is not an issue that can only be attributed to EVs, it is a general quality control issue.

Also, what if Toyota is doing this on purpose?. If you read the history of the Rav4 EV, the first attempt in the 90s and then again in the 2010s; each time some “situation” came up that required the end of the EV experiment because Toyota would find some major complaint that would give into their point that EVs were not viable. Maybe this time was the same. Maybe showing their die hard fans that EVs must be avoided. Only now EVs are such a major market force, Toyota will only be damaging itself if it still continues with its pointless anti EV propaganda.

And the problem this time is NOT with the technology. It is with a very minor part. It reflects badly on Toyota QC and workmanship and has nothing to do with showing the tech is bad or not mature enough. They have been making vehicles for over a half a century. Why suddenly the memory laps in how to make proper wheels?
