While South Asia is suffering from cycles alternate droughts & floods and over-raining a few times per year, Europe is in a far worse condition as far as climate change is concerned. If they don’t hasten up for Euro7 and EVs, they are going extinct soon. There is no time left for them to allow for luddites and worker unions! Hot summers, drought and wildfires are killing Europe very quickly! They must act much faster than they are acting now. Otherwise climate change will kill many of them soon —– climate change, heat waves and droughts won’t discriminate between conservatives and progressives!
Pakistanis having some sort of inferiority complex have the impression that everything in Europe is fine and dandy like a paradise. Update for you: It is not! Climate change is battering Europe faster than it is affecting South Asia, Middle East, Far East or the Americas! Europe has been battling man-made disasters since far before the Industrial Revolution and after this event the stakes are too high. Europe needs to reverse 200+ years of historic pollution to achieve true carbon neutrality. They need to do it for the planet but more so they need to do it for themselves otherwise they’ll be extinct very soon!!

As far as your rant/conspiracy peddling about education goes. You seem to have successfully avoided that issue locally, so making you understand how education works nationally and/or internationally would be futile.”

Your envious jealousy of these people sometimes shines through so clearly. Its understandable. They are putting your idols, the japs, to shame.

Just because the Chinese saw where the industry was headed and did everything right to meet the challenge head on does not make them liars or cheats. In the EV world, the Chinese are leading the pack. Even your precious Toyota is using their tech to make EVs for them. “Toyota, made by BYD.”

What happened to this guy was very unfortunate for VW. This happened because old, near sighted, people who cannot fathom the changing times (like you), are making the decisions for VW. They just effectively handed the Chinese the European market on a golden platter.

As far as your rant/conspiracy peddling about education goes. You seem to have successfully avoided that issue locally, so making you understand how education works nationally and/or internationally would be futile.

They should have known that Chinese are hackers, cheaters, liars who have ultra cheap labour and can thus position themselves to change more quickly than established brands. The reason, all Chinese had to do was get themselves educated from Europe and U.S. then learn to steal secrets and create products cheaply that is to say without suffering any kind of high research costs.
