Kia has not confirmed plans to discontinue the 4th generation Sportage it already sells in Pakistan. The upcoming 5th gen model, likely to be sold alongside the 4th gen, is essentially a pre-facelift version that debuted globally four years ago. It has already become outdated, having been surpassed by a facelift introduced last year. Once again Kia seems to be repeating its pattern of offering older models locally.
As they say, better late than never. Having a newer, slightly less outdated model would be a welcome change, especially considering the decade-old Kia models currently sold in Pakistan. Want to share your thoughts, use the comment section below.
