A single cylinder 600cc engine? Why would they make it a single cylinder engine?? at least two cylinders makes sense in a 4 wheeled vehicle. It has been used in history (many soviet era cars and even some affordable italian cars had two cylinders) and how successful and reliable it has proved to be. A single cylinder engine in a truck like that just seems crazy when you consider the vibrational and balancing drawbacks a single cylinder engine has.

And not to forget that that single cylinder 600cc engine making a measly 16hp max is hauling up to 750kgs… What about realistic fuel economy? 🤔

Plus point is that it offers many trim levels and customization for fuel type (diesel petrol CNG) and deck lengths, minus point is that the engines are 11hp and 16hp single cylinder 600 cc engines. It reminds me of the 8hp, 10hp and 16hp peetar engines used in concrete mixer machines, concrete lifts and tube wells. The only good point is that India is a very, very poor country after the British colonialism ravaged it, and the manufacturers are offering a product that the people can at least afford. Pakistan is also very poor but here the carmakers only offerings are for the top end of the financial spectrum.
