Net-metering is already here and EVs will be a part of it by V2H or V2G.

Anyone can develop a car, but economies of scale, as well as manufacturing plays a major proponent, even the best engineers at Tesla struggled with manufacturing. This vehicle is literally a Remote Control Car made from aluminum cans. Let’s not forget Load Shutting which defeats the purpose of this car, as well as no charging infrastructure compared to Superchargers.

In the end, I think it all boils down to money; why bother with putting effort trying to give a honest opinion/review about a product while getting barely any exposure when you can get sponsored by the very company whose product you are reviewing, while also getting promotional help from them 😕

You are so right! And when a person from a certain auto blog usually starts their conversations with “I’m not a mouth piece of the local assemblers” you know daal main kuch kala hai. Why the need for constant clarification?

We, here at CSPK, are part of an auto community which does look at the local auto industry in light of the world auto industry and see where the problem areas are; Comparing the behavior of these same companies here and elsewhere, but our voice does not carry far. To get to the root of the problem, people need to understand a lot of issue. No one has the time to do so. Hate and negativity is much easier to do.

Its just sad that the wrong message is so loud. 😠😞

Most of these “auto” “journalists” are not even journalists at all, they’re just people who are paid to talk about a vehicle despite knowing virtually nothing about what they’re talking about, just like the “journalists” and “writers” on a certain auto blog. Heck, they call our assembler’s vehicles “manufactured” and “Made in Pakistan” vehicles with full seriousness and zero clue about how they are actually made, so to expect these “professionals” to know what even a prototype car is, forget a concept car and a final commercially produced car.

We need a real auto journalist with actual knowledge about the auto industry and how things work in it to review this vehicle. I’m sure there are a few knowledgeable personalities who may have done them, but sadly they don’t get to stand much in the limelight as much as these do takkay ke journalists.

What I found funny was the way the introduction of this EV was handled by people on another prominent auto website and their video “review”. It was rude and in poor taste to say the least. Not to mention that it missed the whole point of the exercise of displaying this prototype.

This is NOT a product at this time. This is NOT even a prototype OF the product at this time. It is a very early proof of concept and a prototype OF THAT concept. It will not have the best finishing or bespoke parts or anything at this time. “Reviewing” it like a finalized product is wrong. What are you out to review before even viewing the actual final product? The only thing that actively needs “reviewing” here is the lack of knowledge on the reviewer’s part. The way the “journalists” handled it, they seemed to miss this simple fact completely. They started to talk about how the rearview mirrors were from a jap brand. So what?! Being “auto journalists” don’t they know what stage this vehicle is in right now? Instead of acknowledgement of their own rude behaviour they made it sound like the company reps were rude when they asked them to stop; and the company reps needed to answer for why they used the rearview mirrors, which they just kept on talking about for some reason. Why? What does it matter? Why is that such a big deal?

Those who follow the international auto industry will have heard of a solar EV startup company from Germany called SONO. They are a small startup. Their first proof of concept solar EV was based on the shell of an old Mercedes A1. They also had the same lack of finishing on the inside like this Nur-E prototype. Just the bare minimum. Will they penalize SONO as they have penalized this Pakistani startup? Our Pakistani guys used jap rearview mirrors. SONO from Germany used a whole car from Mercedes! Now SONO have made their first complete prototype of their final product and it does not look like the A1 at all! Do these self proclaimed “journalists” know why that is?

Being small startups. These companies need to prioritize where the money is best spent. Instead of beautification of this very early proof of concept, they need to spend the money on their infrastructure and technology and when they are ready they will give the full, finalized prototype of their market ready product. That is still at least a year and a half away.

Instead of creating uneducated hype. Maybe do some homework before giving “expert reviews”.

“All the components of the car have been developed in Pakistan, and the design has been created by the National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore. The chargers for these electric vehicles are being developed by the Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology Karachi. Work is also going on the development of faster chargers to reduce charging time.”

Here’s the part that you think is simply a lie! I understand you doubting everything Pakistani like always (perhaps it’s a personal trauma issue that you are simply projecting) but no, we do actually have an industry in things that may simply seem far fetched to you. This isn’t really a miracle.

Also, no matter where Pakistanis live and no matter where they were born, and no matter which foreign nationality they get, the blood under their skin will always tell them they are Pakistani. You used to have a huge problem with Pakistanis being “uneducated”, therefore being “unable to make advanced industries”… And when you finally come to see actual Pakistanis prove you wrong, you make lame excuses that they are simply not a worthy enough Pakistani because they’re expats.

I understand coping with being wrong, but this is just simply laughable. Don’t loathe yourself so much, Khurram! 😂😁
