Brother cultus is much more fuel efficient. Cultus has lower weight (almost 50 kg less) , aerodynamic shape and engine operates at 11 compression ratio instead of 10. You may have driven a badly tuned Cultus. Infact, an auto journalist Tom Andersom in New Zealand was able to get 29.4 fuel average from this Cultus back in 2015, which was more than even Alto. Plus cultus has airbags and ABS, which Wagon R does not have. Wagon R is only still selling because it is readily available, cheaper and booking always remained open in last two years. A Careem/Uber driver cannot wait for 4 months to get Cultus, when Wagon R is readily available without own and free registration. Despite booking mostly remained close and suzuki discouraging people from buying cultus, Cultus managed to sell more than Wagon R.​

Whatever be the reason, that is why Wagon R is more popular in Uber/Careem than Cultus, granted that after the May 2022 jump in fuel prices, most people have pulled out practically all cars except 660cc cars from Uber/Careem/inDrive/Bykea.

To fill the gap of Wagon R, will PakSuzuki offer and upscale trim of Alto or a low-grade Cultus?
