It has been over three months since Pak Suzuki’s latest offering, the Every minivan, made its way to the PAMA sales charts. However, the sales numbers have been far from impressive, especially when compared to the strong public reception that Suzuki’s earlier models have enjoyed in Pakistan over the years.
In December 2024, only 113 units of Every were lucky enough to find buyers against 944 units produced by the company. Since its launch in October 2024, the company has sold only 37% of its inventory, with 1,011 units sold in three months compared to the 2,661 units produced.
The average monthly sales amount to a disappointing 337 units, far from the enthusiastic reception typically expected for newly launched locally assembled Pak Suzuki vehicles. As discussed earlier, there can be various reasons behind the slow start, such as:
Year-End Effect
The first reason is the year-end effect, as buyers typically avoid purchasing new cars toward the end of the year, preferring to wait until January to take delivery, aligning with the start of the new calendar year. Every’s sales are anticipated to remain sluggish in December but are likely to gain momentum starting January 2025.
No Automatic Transmission
Many have voiced concerns over Pak Suzuki’s decision to exclude an automatic transmission in the Every, especially since the JDM variant has long been available with this feature, highlighting a missed opportunity to cater to evolving customer preferences.
The Suzuki Every Price
While the Suzuki Every offers a reasonable list of features and equipment, its price is substantially higher than the bare-bone Bolan it replaces. While some may argue that the added features justify the price, it could still be challenging for Bolan’s price-sensitive buyers.

- Every VXR: PKR 27.99 LAC
However, with Pak Suzuki having already produced more than twice the number of Every units sold so far, it seems likely that the company is anticipating a surge in sales with the start of the new year. Perhaps the January 2025 figures will present a more optimistic picture. For now, though, judging by the dismal numbers, it’s safe to say that the Suzuki Every minivan has struggled to capture public interest, with the response falling far short of expectations.
