Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL) have started to run a teaser image on their website and social platforms. The blacked out image shows the activated hazard lights of a car with caption ‘Better Buckle Up’ which suggest that HACPL is wanting us to get ready for something big.
Apparently the teaser image is of the 10th generation Civic facelift that was initially introduced late last year in US market, and has already reached various Asian markets including Thailand, China and most recently in India. The 10th gen Civic in Pakistan was introduced back in 2016 and is about to complete 3 years of its life in our market and as indicated earlier, the facelift was always expected.
Furthermore, in the recent round of price revisions HACPL has mentioned that the revised prices of Civic variants will be ‘announced later’ which further affirms that the teaser campaign run by Honda Atlas is for none other than the 2019 Civic facelift.

Although the 10th gen Civic facelift isn’t a drastic change from the current one, still introducing the latest iteration will help the company, that has been dragging the City for over a decade, enhance its reputation among the consumers. However with recent price hikes and a 10% FED imposed by the government on vehicles above 1700cc, it won’t be an easygoing for Civic in our market.
