Honda WR-V Displayed at BIMS 2023

Honda displayed the all-new second-generation WR-V at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS). The latest subcompact crossover has already been launched in Indonesia and Thailand and is destined to be introduced in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Brazil very soon.

The WR-V is offered in two versions: SV and RS, with the RS version, showcased at BIMS. The design is a blend of the new City and the HR-V, with LED headlamps and an imposing grille with a chromic matrix pattern. Though the SV version gets a standard slatted grille.

The all-new WR-V measures 4,060 mm long, 1,780 mm wide, and 1,608 mm tall, and has a 2,485 mm wheelbase. The side profile is characterized by black wheel arches, side skirts, a black roof, and a disguised back door handle positioned near the C-pillar. Similar to the new City, the rear end has horizontally stacked tail lights, plus an incorporated spoiler, a back wiper, and a bumper with a diffuser element.

The Honda WR-V is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated DOHC i-VTEC engine producing 120hp and 145 Nm and mated to a CVT transmission. This is the same engine that powers the Honda City and the entry-level HR-V.
