Indus Motor Company (IMC) the assemblers of Toyota cars in Pakistan will observe non-production days in March 2024. In a piece of material information shared with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), IMC disclosed that its assembly plant will remain shut from 6th to 11th March 2024 (both days included).
The company has cited low inventory levels and a shortage of parts & components required to assemble vehicles due to supply chain disruptions as the reasons behind the move. IMC is expected to resume its assembly operations from 12th March 2024.
