Isuzu D-Max Price in Pakistan Reduced by Rs 1.3 Million, Really?

Joining the ongoing price reduction trend, Ghandara has slashed the price of the Isuzu D-Max GTX Edition by Rs 1.3 million effective immediately. After the price revision, the flagship variant will now cost PKR 124.0 lac instead of the previously available PKR 137.0 lac according to Isuzu Pakistan’s official social handles.

The GTX variant was introduced earlier this year with various added features over the D-Max 4×4 V-Cross 3.0L including Sonar Sensors, a Bonnet Deflector,  a Cargo Extender,  a Piano Black Interior, a Mobile Wireless Charger, a Bonnet Shocker, Deck Rubber Mat, Spare Tyre Lock, Tail Gate Sling Up, Tailgate Ornament, Rear Lamp Garnish, and Illuminated Rocker Plates.

What’s even more interesting is that the price of the Isuzu D-Max GTX Edition when launched in January 2024 was already Rs 124.0 lac. The company introduced this variant to celebrate 5 years of Isuzu D-Max’s existence in the Pakistani market, but exactly when the price of the GTX variant was increased to Rs 137.0 lac remains a mystery.

Even a few weeks ago the price of the Isuzu D-Max GTX was Rs 124.0 lac on their official pages, thus it can’t be a typo error if they are suddenly claiming a Rs 1.3 million price drop and selling it again at Rs 124.0 lac. However, it’s just too difficult to accept that the company’s marketing staff would have the guts to think of such sleazy tactics, and how these moves can get the executive approvals.

A post from 26th April shows the GTX Edition price of Rs 124.0 lac and not Rs 137.0 lac

Isuzu D-Max is among the worst-selling vehicles in Pakistan with a sales of average as bad as 11 units a month only. A genuine price reduction might have worked in the company’s favor but duping the consumers with such impotent marketing gimmickry won’t do much for the already struggling brand in the market.
