Kia Pakistan has temporarily suspended new bookings of various models according to a recent notification sent to its authorized dealerships. Though there is no specific reason given in the notification behind the move, production, dispatches and invoicing will continue as planned according to the company.

According to the notice, all variants of Kia Picanto hatchback as well as Sportage CUV are suspended. In addition the bookings of newly launched Stonic EX and EX+ crossover is also suspended. Interestingly however, the company is still selling the CBU units of Stonic.
Additionally, the booking of Kia Sorento will remain open. Bear in mind the Sorento which has been unable to do wonders for Lucky Motors hasn’t witnessed any price revisions in recent times, in fact Sorento prices were drastically reduced, still the company is finding it hard to push the 7-seat flagship CUV out of the showroom floors.

Lastly, the Kia Carnival luxury MPV which comes as a CBU import has witnessed a price hike. With an increase of Rs 500,000 the Carnival now cost Rs 10,499,000 and is open for booking.
