Toyota is now constantly the subject of massive recalls.

Toyota is now constantly performing worse in surveys such as the JD powers tech surveys which measure the tech levels/innovativeness in a car company’s lineup. This point is also evident from the fact that even in Gulf/middle east countries, people are fast moving towards Chinese brands for their value for money, quality and better warranties. Even in EVs.

Toyota is constantly criticized for spreading propaganda against EVs in Japan especially and calling EVs “Not Ready”. Yet it is investing billions in factories for Battery production in japan and the US 🤦‍♂️ because it knows in which direction the wind is blowing. 🤷‍♂️

On top of all that, Toyota has botched its EV program so badly that their first EV is shedding its wheels and now it has to ask a Chinese company to make EV sedans for them.

With all this going on and more. Is it still justified to swear by this company’s quality/reliability?

In good old Toyota’s case recalls are counted in sales 😛 but according to his logic recalls by Toyota show how much company cares & its a blessing upon mankind while recalls by others are just kullun-haraamun 😀

I’m guessing the pathetic excuse he will give is “Good Old Toyota did a good thing taking those trucks away from those illiterate drivers, they don’t know how to drive such a big truck properly and use the parking brake properly, so Good Old Toyota did them a favor and took the trucks away from them before they could crash it into a wall. Toyota way!” 🤪
