In a rather surprising move, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has reduced the prices of all Toyota Yaris 1.3L variants in Pakistan. The revised prices are effective from 14th March 2024.
According to the company notification, sparing the 1.3L Ativ CVT variant, the price of Yaris 1.3L has been slashed by Rs 73,000 after which the base GLi MT variant is available for PKR 43.26 lac, the GLi CVT is now available for PKR 46.16 lac, and the Ativ MT is available for PKR 45.86 lac. On the other hand, the price of 1.3L Yaris ATIV CVT has been reduced by Rs. 133,000, after which it costs PKR 47.66 lac.

The company has also reduced the prices of CBU-imported Toyota Camry and Land Cruiser J300. While the company hasn’t given any reason behind the move, it is largely believed that the sales of Yaris 1.3L variants were dented badly in the presence of the 6th-gen 1.2L Honda City variants. IMC hopes the reduced prices will entice car buyers to opt for the 1.3L Yaris instead of the Honda City.
