The 2017 Suzuki Swift Sport has been spied testing for the first time, courtesy Motor1. A production-bodied prototype of the Swift Sport was spied undergoing some testing on public roads, and according to the pictures the new Swift will come with twin exhausts.
The exterior of the 2017 Suzuki Swift Sport was leaked earlier this year, featuring a more aggressive design comprising elements like an upright front end with a gaping hexagonal grille, larger intakes, smaller headlamps with LED daytime running lights, and large alloy wheels. The rear-end features a roof spoiler, dual exhaust pipes, hidden rear door handles and a floating roof impression.
The new Suzuki Swift Sport will carry a K14C-DITC 1.4-litre BOOSTERJET turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 103 kW (138.07 hp) and 220 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The new Swift is also going to be a tad wider than the outgoing model and that should pay dividends in terms of the amount of room available inside. However it remains to be seen whether the wheelbase will be stretched to create more legroom compared to the outgoing model or not.
