2018 Suzuki Ertiga to go on Sale in Indonesia on 12 May

The second generation Suzuki Ertiga was officially unveiled at the 2018 IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) earlier this week. Now pre-bookings in Indonesia are open with the all-new MPV expected go on sale on 12 May, 2018.

The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga is available in four grades GA, GL, GX and GX ESP. Exterior highlights include Projector headlamps, electrically adjustable and foldable mirrors, 15-inch alloy wheels and LED rear combination lamps with light guides.

Its interior is laid out in beige and has woody trim on the dashboard, steering wheel and front door panels for a premium appeal. Suzuki equips the MPV’s interior with ventilated cup holders, 60:40 split folding & sliding second-row seats, 50:50 split tilt down folding third-row seats, 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual power outlets and leather steering wheel.

The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga is powered by a new K15B VVT petrol engine that produces 105 PS at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm, with 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic as transmission options. For higher safety, in addition to ABS with EBD, dual airbags, rear parking sensors and rear parking camera, Suzuki offers Hill-Hold Control and ESP as well in the flagship variant.

After Indonesia, the new Ertiga will reach other markets starting from India towards August this year. The Ertiga is one vehicle which Pak Suzuki should seriously consider launching in Pakistan. The introduction of Ertiga will surely help Pak Suzuki compete with the popular Honda BR-V much more effectively rather than dragging the unsuccessful APV since ages.
