Renault has launched the updated 2022 Kwid in India at a starting price of INR 4.49 lac (PKR 10.67 lac). Alongside the updates, the Kwid is now available in a new trim – RXL(O) which sits above the base RXL and below the RXT trim. The hatchback has been a volume driver for Renault ever since it was launched in 2015, with more than 400,000 units sold already.
The mild updates are mostly cosmetic in nature such as new decals, new wheel covers and refreshed upholstery. The 2022 Renault Kwid gets two new color options – Metal Mustard and Ice Cool White, with dual-tone black roof. While the mid and top trims get plastic wheel covers, the up-spec Climber variant gets new dual-tone wheel covers that mimic the appearance of alloy wheels.
