Remember when we posted about Changan Hunter pickup, Oshan X7 and UNI-T crossover, keeping alive our tradition of bringing the first-hand information on Chinese cars in Pakistan. Looks as if someone among the Changan higher-ups has decided to listen to our wishes.

The new breed of Changan vehicles have been spotted testing in Karachi and the images are going viral across the social media. And as one can verify from excise website, the UNI-T test-vehicle belongs to none other than Master Motors.

Changan UNI-T comes powered by a 1.5L turbo engine that churns out staggering 180hp of power. On the other hand, the Hunter double cabin pickup gets powered by 1.9L turbo diesel with impressive power output figures of 150hp and 350Nm.

And as reported by us in September 2019, Changan has also brought the Oshan X7 for testing purpose. The vehicle made its debut at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show and is the first compact SUV in Oshan (Oushan in China) sub-brand that is powered by 1.5 liter turbocharged engine under its hood.

As per information, these vehicles have been imported for trials & tests after which one might expect them to be introduced in Pakistan somewhere in 2022. The UNI-T and X7 will become Changan’s representation in the crossover and SUV segment while the Hunter will go against the likes of Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max in the pickup truck segment.
