Four BYDs Among 2024 European Car of The Year Nominees

With a total of 28 cars nominated as contenders for the coveted title, the 2024 European Car of the Year has announced its finalists. According to the criteria, nominees must be new cars that are available for purchase in five or more European markets as of right now or before the end of the year in order to qualify.

There will be two rounds of voting, much like in previous years. On November 27, the shortlist of seven nominees will be revealed following the pool’s initial reduction. The winner of the Car of the Year award will be announced at the Geneva Motorshow on February 26 following the completion of the second round of voting. According to the organization, the CoTY jury for 2024 is now made up of 59 members from 22 different nations, with two Russian members still under suspension.
