South Korean automaker Hyundai has launched the Kona EV in India with prices starting at INR 25.30 lac. Dual-tone color versions cost INR 20,000 extra. Dubbed as the first electric SUV in India, the Kona EV is offered in one flagship variant and 5 color options and is backed by 3-years/ unlimited km warranty.

Hyundai Kona EV features LED headlamps, LED DRLs, cornering lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, side mirrors with integrated turn indicators and an integrated rear spoiler. Inside, it comes equipped with black interior, leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, electric sunroof, cruise control, 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity and voice recognition.
Features include 10-way power adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, front ventilated and heated seats, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering, 60:40 split rear seats, metal pedals, electric parking brake, push button engine start-stop, wireless charger, and four drive modes including Eco, Eco+, Sport and Comfort.

The Kona EV is powered by a 39.2 KWh battery pack that delivers an ARAI certified range of 452 km. The Kona can be fully charged with a standard AC charger in 6 hours, while the 100 kW DC fast charger enables the battery to be charged to 80% in just 57 minutes. This battery pack produces 135 hp of power and 395 Nm of torque and helps sprint the Kona EV from 0-100 km/h in 9.7 seconds.
