Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) has increased the price of Peugeot 2008 in Pakistan for the third time this month without providing any valid reason. The earlier two price revisions were made on the 1st of February and then on the 21st of February.
The latest price hike for Peugeot 2008 comes just a few days after the company increased prices in wake of added 18% General Sales Tax (GST) imposed by the government. The revised Peugeot 2008 prices in Pakistan are effective immediately and are applicable to all new bookings.
According to the notification, the price of the Peugeot 2008 Active has been increased by Rs 500,000 whereas that of the top-spec Allure variant has gone up by Rs 494,000.

It is pertinent to mention that local assemblers are now increasing car prices several times a month citing economic conditions as the main reason behind their decision. On the contrary, however, the Rupee has made a nearly 6% recovery against US Dollar since the beginning of this month, the impact of which is yet to be transferred to the customers.
