Pak Suzuki has announced a significant price cut for the Swift hatchback in Pakistan, getting its feet wet in the recent wave of pricing reductions. According to the latest company notification, the revised prices will be effective from 1st May 2024.
The price of base Swift GL has been slashed by Rs 85,000 after which it is available for PKR 43.36 lac, and the price of the GL CVT variant has been reduced by Rs 159,000 bringing its price down to PKR 45.60 lac. Lastly, the flagship Swift GLX CVT has seen its price drop by Rs 710,000 after which it now retails at PKR 47.19 lac.
The notification mentions it as a limited-time offer which means the price decrease is temporary in nature. Nevertheless, with sales hitting rock bottom, the outrageous prices of locally assembled cars finally seem to be coming down. Will the trend continue in the future, only time will tell.
