Changan is the latest automaker to announce a major price reduction in response to the recent wave of significant price cuts in the domestic auto market. The revised prices are effective from May 4, 2024.
According to the company notification, the price of the Oshan X7 Comfort has been dropped by Rs 250,000 while that of the flagship Future Sense variant has been slashed by Rs 400,000. After the reduction, the Oshan X7 Comfort is now available for PKR 79.99 lac while the Future Sense variant now retails at PKR 85.49 lac.
The price reduction tsunami is expected to continue in Pakistan, with other automakers joining in with their price cuts. Although something too rare to happen in the local auto market, the move is going to benefit the consumers and may eventually help revive the ailing car sales in the country.
