Most Toyota products have the reputation of being tough but this one is a bit extreme. In an incident that went viral on the internet, a Toyota GR Yaris hot hatch is followed by a rather impatient driver behind the wheel of a Land Rover Discovery Sport, seen at a traffic circle somewhere in the UK. The incident was recorded from a dash cam of another vehicle that was following the two cars on the scene.
The Discovery Sport is looking to get through the circle with haste but, almost as soon as the cars enter the circle, they are presented by a traffic jam. To overcome this, the Land Rover driver gets the idea to quickly switch lanes, but completely loses all sense of spatial awareness and makes contact with the GR Yaris.
The bumper of Toyota Yaris comically rebounds the impact from the Discovery Sport’s tire and sends it rolling over on its roof. Motorists across the circle rush out of their cars to assist the flipped Land Rover driver. Interestingly, the GR Yaris looks pretty much unhurt.
