Sazgar has once again increased the price of Haval H6 compact crossover SUV. This is the second major price revision announced by the company within 3 months of introduction in Pakistan.
Haval H6 was introduced in our market as CBU (Completely Built Unit) import, bearing a price tag of PKR 62.95 lac however the price was soon bumped by Rs 200,000 to PKR 64.95 lac. Now after the latest revision, the H6 cost PKR 68.77 lac which includes Rs 28,000 as local freight and insurance charges.
According to company notification, this unfortunate increase in price is due to the unfavorable fluctuations in exchange rates. Sazgar calls this increase as beyond the control of company. Bear in mind, Sazgar has already announced the increase in price of the Jolion crossover SUV which, after the increase of Rs 300,000 is now available for PKR 60.57 lac (including freight & insurance).
Haval H6 in Pakistan
Sazgar launched the Haval H6 and Jolion as premium products a few months ago but the duo has already experience multiple stoppages in bookings since the company says it doesn’t want to accept a large number of bookings due to limited availability of stock particularly due to global supply chain & chip shortage issues. Although a batch of imported H6 crossovers has recently reached Pakistan, how this latest increase in price will affect the company’s reputation in marketing a fresh brand in our country will be an interesting thing to see.

More importantly, State Bank of Pakistan has recently put a cap on the financing of imported vehicles which will most likely going to affect the sales of these expensive imported crossovers in Pakistan.
