After the tremendous success of Haval SUVs, Sazgar has now introduced the ORA 03 EV in Pakistan tapping the growing electric vehicle segment of the market. Bear in mind that Haval and Ora are sub-brands under the umbrella of Great Wall Motors (GWM). At the same time, the Ora 03 is also known as Good Cat or simply Ora GT in various global markets and has been extensively covered on CarSpiritPK already.

The Ora 03 EV in Pakistan is powered by a 47.78 kWh LFP battery with a driving range of up to 400 km per charge. There is a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor good for 105kW (140hp) & 219 Nm sending power to the front wheels. The EV has a top speed of 160 km per hour.
The retro-styled hatchback features LED adjustment headlamps with DRLs, electrically adjustable & retractable side view mirrors with integrated turn signals, a rear fog lamp, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside the dual-tone interior gets a multi-function leather steering wheel, 6-way electrically adjustable driver seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, 60:40-split rear seats, wireless charging, 7-inch instrumental cluster, 10.25-inch color touchscreen multimedia unit screen, automatic AC, keyless entry system, and panoramic roof to name a few.

Safety systems are rich with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, TCS & ESC, Adaptive Cruise Control &Â Intelligent Cruise Assist, Auto Hold & Hill Assist Control, front & reversing radar, automatic integrated parking system, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Hold & Lane Centering Assist, Front & Rear Collision Warning, Auto Emergency Braking, and Auto Collision Unlock. Sazgar has priced the ORA 03 EV in Pakistan at PKR 89.99 lac. The vehicle is currently being offered as a CBU imported unit, bookings (against partial payment) of which will kick off by next week with deliveries expected to be made within 3/4 months, according to the company. Ora 03 aka Goot Cat EV has witnessed tremendous success in the markets where it has been launched, we will have to wait & see if it gets the same sort of popularity here.
