Super Carry X Limited Launched in Japan

Suzuki has launched a new special edition model of the Super Carry pickup in Japan, dubbed Super Carry X Limited featuring enhanced styling and utility. Remember that the Super Carry is an extended cab version of the Carry pickup.

Regarding visual enhancements, the Suzuki Super Carry X offers a rugged interpretation of this mini truck with its cab-over design featuring three layers of black decals on its sides, resembling bolt-on metal panels. There are smoked black LED headlights with black clusters complemented by a matching black finish for the grille, fog lamp bezels, door handles, and mirror caps. Additionally, the small 12-inch steel wheels have also been coated in black, enhancing the vehicle’s appearance without the need for hub caps.

Inside, the extended cab of the Super Carry provides additional cargo space behind the two seats, while allowing the driver’s seat to recline by 40 degrees and slide by 180 mm (7.1 inches). The drop-side rear bed spans 1,480 mm (58.3 inches) in length and includes a recess under the cabin for transporting longer items.

Keep in mind the Suzuki Carry in Japan is the 11th generation model that has been around since 2013 and has received multiple facelifts since then, as opposed to the bigger 12th gen Carry that was introduced in Indonesia in 2019. Under the hood, the Super Carry X comes equipped with the standard 658 cc three-cylinder gasoline engine, delivering 50 hp of power and 59 Nm of torque. Drive is sent to all four wheels through either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic, assisted by a 4WD system.
