11th-Gen Honda Civic Facelift Launched in Thailand

The facelifted 11th-generation Honda Civic has debuted in Thailand. Redesigned front bumpers with a honeycomb mesh in the lower and major grille portions are features of the updated model. The rear bumper has also been modified.

Three variants are available— the 1.5L Turbo EL+, e:HEV EL+, and e:HEV RS. The facelifted Civic’s exterior dimensions are 1,802 mm in width, 1,415 mm in height, 4,681 mm in length, and 2,733 mm in wheelbase. The two e:HEV versions have a significantly lesser fuel tank capacity of 40 liters as opposed to the 1.5L Turbo’s 47 liters, and their wheelbases are longer by one millimeter (2,734 mm).

For the 1.5L Turbo EL+ trim and the two e:HEV variants, the headlamps are LEDs and have automated functioning. The LED tail lamps, LED daytime running lights, and headlamp auto-off feature that turns off the lights when the ignition is turned off are also standard.

The door handles of the 1.5L Turbo EL+ are body color, whereas the e:HEV RS has black handles with chrome accents. Side mirrors with indicators, power folding, and electric adjustment are included for all three. Rain-sensing wipers are also included with the two e:HEV versions.

Inside the facelift remains virtually the same as the pre-facelift models with a black color theme for all three variants. While the 1.5L Turbo EL+ and e:HEV EL+ get a leather and synthetic leather mix; the e:HEV RS gets suede and synthetic leather, with red contrast stitching, plus front door trim illumination and footwell lighting.

The Honda Smart Key system, automatic air conditioning, rear air vents, push-button, and remote engine start are standard on all three versions; the e:HEV RS gains dual-zone air conditioning and the Smart Key card. The two hybrids add a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, a wireless device charger, and a self-dimming rearview mirror to the eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat that is standard on other models.

Voice control via Siri and Android Auto, Bluetooth, four USB-C connections, and Honda Connect are all included as standard features. Standard audio comes with 8 speakers, while the top-tier e:HEV RS has a 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio system. Active Noise Control is available for the two hybrid models.

Powering the sole 1.5L Turbo variant is the 1,498 cc turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine that develops 178 hp and 240 Nm, driving the front wheels through a CVT gearbox. The 2.0L e:HEV variants get a 1,993 cc naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 142 hp and 182 Nm, matching those of the pre-facelift version where it serves as a generator for an electric motor that produces 185 hp of power and 315 Nm of torque.
