The ground breaking ceremony of Hyundai-Nishat plant will be held on 20th December 2017. Hyundai-Nishat motors, a Nishat Group company entered into an agreement with Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) will build it’s production facility at M-3 Industrial City, Sahianwala, FIEDMC Faisalabad.

The project approved by the government earlier this year under the Greenfield investment category will see production of Hyundai branded passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Pakistan. The comeback of Hyundai after nearly a decade will trigger a healthy competition in the automobile sector which is long dominated by 3 Japanese players in Pakistan.
