Chinese automobile giant, Geely Auto has released official photos of its first sports sedan called as the A06 (codename). The new model may use the name, Emgrand SL in the future, and is expected to go on sale in the third quarter this year.

The A06 sedan has an impressive design with intake grille that not only retains Geely’s iconic ripple-design, but also adds a dotted mesh pattern. The dark-colored LED headlight linked with grilles enhances its futuristic appearance. The multi-layered front face boasts a massive C-shaped lower grill and creases on the hood.
From the side view, the A06 adopts fastback design with the dynamic front end echoing with the ducktail rear end. The streamlined roof could reduce the wind resistance and improve the air conduction efficiency. In addition, the rear end featuring all-LED taillight cluster and chrome trims, looks very elegant indeed.

According to unofficial sources, the new Geely A06 sedan measures 4,680/1,785/1,460 mm with a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. Geely is yet to reveal the interior, engine and transmission details. However sources reveal that the new sedan will be available with a 1.0 liter turbocharged with 136hp and 1.4 liter naturally aspirated unit with 133hp.
