Maruti has updated the 2022 Suzuki S-Presso in India priced from INR 4.25 lac (PKR 11.4 lac). The new iteration features updated features as well as a new engine.

Available across 5 variants, the 2022 Suzuki S-Presso now gets powered by K10C petrol engine with idle start/stop technology. According to the automaker, the new engine is much more refined and fuel-efficient than the previously offered K10B unit. The new engine outputs 66hp of power and 89Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. With the inclusion of idle start/stop technology, Maruti claims an increased fuel efficiency of 25.3 km/l for the AMT versions and up to 24.76 km/l for the manual variants.
In terms of features, the higher VXi+ and VXi+ (O) variants are now equipped with an air purifier, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, reverse parking sensors, and an electronic stability program with hill-hold assist for all AMT variants. Speaking at the launch event, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India said:
“The S-Presso with its bold SUV-ish design has carved a strong niche for itself. Within a short span of around three years, we have sold over 2,02,500 units of S-Presso, a strong testimony that it stirred the right notes with customers. The new S-Presso with refined 1.0 K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with idle start/stop technology, enhanced fuel-efficiency, and added features will offer an engaging drive experience to customers. We are confident that our customers will much appreciate the new S-Presso.”

The S-Presso comes packed with safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, pre-tensioned seatbelts with force limiter, front seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert system and reverse parking sensors as standard across all variants. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso in India is priced as:
