Renault Kiger which was launched in India in February 2021 has now received an update. With a number of tech-based features as well as visual additions to enhance its appeal among sub-compact SUV buyers, the new Kiger is priced from INR 5.84 lac (PKR 14.02 lac).
The most notable update on the 2022 Renault Kiger is the addition of cruise control and wireless phone charging. Even more significant is that PM2.5 Advanced Atmospheric Filter is now being offered as standard across all variants. Among the visual enhancements, the new Kiger sports a front skid plate, chrome on the tail gate, TURBO door decals and a new dual-tone exterior color option – Metal Mustard with Mystery Black roof. The vehicle stands on 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, the new interior color harmony featuring new red fade dashboard accent and quilted emboss seat upholstery adorned with red stitches, adds to the sportiness of the car. Engine options will remain unchanged in form of 1.0L naturally aspirated unit in manual & EASY-R AMT transmissions and 1.0L Turbo in manual & X-TRONIC CVT transmissions.
Kiger has been instrumental in driving India among Renault’s top 5 global markets. Developed in collaboration between the design teams in France and India, Renault Kiger is the third global car to be launched in India first, before it was introduced in the rest of the world. The 2022 Renault Kiger will continue to compete against the likes of Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Mahindra XUV700 among others.
