Honda has unveiled the latest generation of Fit hatchback for the Chinese market. The all new 4th generation Honda Fit was unveiled at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show in October and went on sale in Japan earlier this year followed by its European market debut where the car is sold under Jazz nameplate.

Although the new Fit was criticized for its sedative styling, the Chinese version looks a lot better thanks to beefier front & rear bumpers and larger mesh grille up front. Available in Sports and Crosstar versions, the Chinese-market Fit is powered by 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine that comes paired to a CVT gearbox while complying with China-VI emission standards. Though there is no hybrid option offered in China.

The interior is offered in dual tone color scheme whereas the new Fit will come equipped with Honda Sensing driver assistance suite as standard. The 2020 Honda Fit will be made in China by the GAC-Honda venture and will go on sale in Chinese market towards August this year.
