According to the automaker, the look was inspirited by industrial aesthetics, and the result is an aggressive-looking crossover with a unique face and a very sporty overall character featuring numerous intersections of straight lines. The H-shaped front face, called “Armor Wing”, is inspired by a motorcycle helmet and offers various color and finish options to form a unique identity. The headlights are like laser eyes, while the triangular cutting elements in taillights are designed to emulate the crystal diamond-like pulses.

Built on the modular GMPA platform, the new GS3 is 60mm longer, 55mm lower and 25mm wider than the previous generation model. The wheelbase has been increased by 90mm, while the front overhang is shortened by 31mm, contributing to an increased interior volume. The rear luggage compartment space is also increased to 341 liters and features a flat floor that enables various customization and expansion scenarios to meet the younger customers’ needs.

The tri-tone interior of the 2023 GS3 is impressive with a nice mix of premium-looking plastic and soft-touch material, some polished aluminum trim, a clean digital instrument cluster, 32-color ambient lighting, and a high-resolution media display.  The “Crystal Shifter” has a beautiful look with crystal-like materials and is shaped ergonomically for a more comfortable, intuitive control.
