Ghandhara Automobiles Limited (GAL), formerly known as Ghandhara Nissan Limited (GNL), has announced to extend the shutdown of its assembly plant till further notice.
The company cited “extensive upgradation activities in the paint shop” as the reason for the indefinite production halt in the official statement that it sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
This development makes it uncertain how the company will do in terms of sales during the shutdown period. The automaker will likely rely on the inventory of pre-built units that are available in stock.
