Honda India is preparing a major facelift for the Honda City sedan, which expected to be introduced in January 2017.
Honda India had exported two prototypes of the Honda City facelift, code named ‘Honda 2GC’ to Japan for further testing. The 6th generation face-lifted City is likely to retain the current engine lineup, although 1.5 i-VTEC variant may be upgrade to the 6-speed manual gearbox.

Keeping up with the recent Honda design language, it could feature a contemporary and bolder grille with more chrome embellishments, larger headlamps with projector lighting and LED DRLs, sportier bumper, new alloy wheels and revised tail-lamp clusters.
The 6th generation City was launched in India 3 years ago, and is already on the verge of receiving a facelift. On the other hand Honda Atlas is yet to introduce this generation of City in Pakistan.
