South Korean automaker Hyundai having unveiled the smallest SUV in its lineup called Casper, has now revealed the interior and standard features of the car which is expected to go on sale starting from its home market later this month.
Three trims of the Hyundai Casper will be made available. The entry-level Smart variant gets a set of 15-inch steel wheels, LED DRLs and color-coded mirrors. Safety features consist of forward collision avoidance assist, lane departure prevention, lane keep assist, high beam assist, driver attention warning and a forward vehicle departure notification, all offered as standard. This is supported by a 7-airbags, rear parking distance monitoring and TMPS. Comfort and entertainment features consist of a 4.2-inch LCD cluster connected to a 2-speaker system, one USB charger as well as cruise control.
Then comes the Modern variant which adds a set of metal skid plates, heated leather steering wheel, armrest for the driver, a purple interior mood lamp and artificial leather upholstery for the seats, door armrest and center console. Both front seats are heated but only the driver benefits from ventilation.

A 50:50 split rear seat, push button start and 4-speaker system is also available in this variant. The Hyundai Casper Modern trim is also equipped with a two-wheel drive rough road driving mode that caters to snow, sand and mud surfaces for owners who want to be a bit more adventurous.
The flagship Inspiration variant adds an array of safety features such as forward collision avoidance, blind-spot collision avoidance, rear cross traffic collision prevention, safe exit warning, smart cruise control and a navigation-based smart cruise control system. Projection headlamps, LED indicators for the door mirrors, LED rear combination headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear disc brakes and a roof rack are also included.
The cabin benefits from houndstooth head-lining, a full folding first row of seats and a second row bench that can slide and recline. Comfort and convenience features include full automatic climate control with a micro air filter, additional USB ports and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 6-speakers.
Hyundai has confirmed that the Casper can be had with a naturally aspirated or turbocharged 1.0L three-cylinder petrol engine which sends power to the front wheels exclusively with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The turbocharged engine specification in the range is exclusive to the Casper Active variant, and when paired with the Inspiration trim level brings an exclusive wheel design as well as an additional rear spoiler.

Reservations will be taken through a dedicated website for the Casper rather than the conventional sales network, before the formal sales launch on September 29. As for pricing, Smart trim cost 13.85 million won (PKR 19.81 lac), Modern at 15.9 million won (PKR 22.73 lac) and Inspiration 18.7 million won (PKR 26.82 lac). When specified with the turbocharged Casper Active variant, a 950,000 won (PKR 1.35 lac) premium is added to the Smart and Modern trim levels, and an additional 900,000 won (PKR 1.28 lac) for the Inspiration variant.
