Indus Motors (IMC) has launched the 2018 Camry hybrid in Pakistan. The hybrid version comes with a reduced price tag of PKR 82.99 lac for the low grade model and PKR 84.99 lac for the high grade version, since the Camry (imported) was previously available for over PKR 121.5 lac
The hybrid version comes powered by a 2.5 liter engine assisted by a Permanent Magnet Motor mated to a 6 Speed Sequential Shift CVT gearbox. The 2.5 liter A25A-FXS engine is Euro V emission compliant.
The 2018 model which is the 8th generation of Camry coded as XV70 is built on Toyota New Global Architecture Platform, which is also shared with the latest Toyota Prius hybrid hatchback and Toyota C-HR crossover SUV. The XV70 Camry was introduced at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in January 2017. It was launched in Japan on 10th July 2017, in Australia on 21st November 2017 and will also be launched in other Asian markets soon.

Inside the 2018 Camry gets Leather Interior with the choice of Black or Beige color coding, LED Interior illumination, Multifunction Steering Wheel for Audio, MID, Phone, Voice Control and Cruise Control switches, Electro chromatic rear view mirror, Powered rear sun-shade, Dual zone automatic climate control, Powered Seat adjustment with electric lumbar adjustment for driver, 7 inches MID, 8 inch entertainment system with DVD, Reverse Camera and 6 speakers etc.

The Camry will face immediate competition from the Audi A6 with 1.8 TFSI engine the price of which ranges between PKR 75.0 lac to PKR 89.1 lac.
