Kia-Lucky has revised the price of automatic variant of its Picanto hatchback effective from the 1st of September 2020. With an increase of Rs 50,000, the Kia Picanto AT is now available for PKR 20.49 lac. The price of manual version remains unchanged as of now.

The company hasn’t mentioned the reason behind price revision of the automatic variant only. However with this increase, the Picanto automatic has become Rs 64,000 more expensive than the Suzuki Cultus VXL AGS it directly competes to.
Kia has seen a remarkable success with its Sportage SUV in Pakistan however the Picanto hasn’t been able to get the same sort of response yet. Probably due to the fact that this generation was retired globally more than 2 years before it was introduced in Pakistan and being a globally discontinued model it was expected to be priced lower than the competition, however that has not been the case.
